ABOUT

*The Jab Museum and Market Place*
At the heart of this Museum and Market Place lies the carnival cultural icon known as the Jab Jab which is a very powerful representation of our dark history as descendants of our African forefathers. It tells a tale of the brutality of the slave masters, the horrors endured on sugar cane plantations and the fears associated with the gruesome experiences.
In recent times, the Jab Jab movement in Grenada, Carriacou, Petit Martinique and in the diaspora has gained considerable momentum and therefore as an artist, it has become necessary to take this cultural art form to the next level. Everything that makes a significant mark in the culture of a people must be expressed artistically and officially exhibited for its people and the world to appreciate and get the opportunity to own memorabilia. Hence you now have your very own Jab Museum and Market Place.
